Breakfast Quinoa with Dried Fruit and Nuts

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup quinoa
  • 1 apple or other fruit
  • 1 tbs shredded coconut if desired
  • 1 tbs flax seed grounded
  • 2 tbs honey, agave syrup or another sweetener
  • 2 tbs hazelnuts or other nuts
  • 2 tbs cranberry dried natural

Instructions

  • Rinse the quinoa thoroughly to wash away the bitter taste.
  • Cook it (in 1 cup of quinoa to 2 ½ cups of water ratio) for about 15 minutes.
  • Add honey or other natural sweetener. Garnish with fruits, nuts, shredded coconut and flaxseed.
