Ingredients
1Bottlered winedry or semi-dry
4wholeCloves
2stickscinnamon
1Star anise(optional)
1podCardamom(optional)
3spoonsraw sugaror more according to your taste
1wholeBio orangesliced
Instructions
Warm up the wine in a pot on a medium heat. Keep in mind that the wine should NOT cook. Otherwise, the alcohol will evaporate and the wine will lose its quality.
Add all the other ingredients. If you want you can use Bio Lemons or Apples.
Take the pot off the heat and let it rest for one hour. In this time the wine will absorb the flavour and the scent out of the spices.
Warm up the mulled wine to the preferred temperature before serving and filter through a sieve.
