Vegan Chocolate Mousse Recipe

For this recipe you need just four main ingredients. The result is silken, smooth and delicious vegan chocolate mousse.

Ingredients

  • 400 g silken tofu
  • 50 g Dark chocolate vegan, 70 % cocoa or higher
  • 1 avocado ripe and soft
  • 10-15 fresh dates

Instructions

  • Soak the dates in warm water and leave them for 5-10 minutes. This will make it a lot easier to peel off the skin. If you want the mousse to be smooth, you don't want to feel any pieces in your mouth later.
  • Meanwhile, melt the chocolate in a water bath and let it cool.
  • Peel the dates and remove the stones. Peel the avocado and put it in the blender or a bowl, add the silk tofu and dates. Add the melted chocolate. Using the blender, mix until the mixture is homogeneous and smooth.
  • Put in suitable cups or bowls and let rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Decorate as desired with fresh fruit, grated chocolate, or nuts.
