Tabbouleh salad is an Arabic parsley salad with bulgur. If you want to get a vitamins bomb this most definitely is the right salad! It contains a lot of parsley, which provides the body with huge amounts of calcium, iodine and iron, and is said to enhance the libido.
I can honestly admit that I have never been a big parsley fan… I love its aroma, but I find it hard to eat in large quantities, so my salad is more of a Tabbouleh-inspired, as I make it with much less parsley. You can use parsley in quantities according to your own taste.
