Ingredients needed for your Vegan Chocolate Peanut Shake
- 2 bananas ripe
- 2 tbs chia if desired
- 2 tbs peanut tahini
A while back ago I bought some very high-quality peanut mousse (tahini) with delightful aroma.
There’s a huge difference between peanut tahini (or peanut mousse) and the peanut butter, which is so widely spread in USA… In the most cases, peanut butter is produced by hydrogenation and contains so-called trans fats, which are extremely harmful to human health. One thing is certain, if you find a quality product made entirely from roasted ground peanuts it’s worthwhile to eat… That’s what I call a healthy and very tasty product.
Two tablespoons of quality peanut tahini contain about 7 grams of protein. Only a portion of it has 3 mg of antioxidants as well as vitamin E and B6. It is rich in magnesium, which supports bone health and restores muscle tissue and vitamin B6.
I’ve never been a fan of shakes, as I’ve never liked milk and traditionally shakes are based on milk. This shake is an exception because it’s made with rice milk that can be replaced with nut milk or even water. It’s a delicious breakfast that will surely satiate your appetite very well.
